About The Position

The job responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting hospital patient rooms and clinical areas in accordance with healthcare standards. Duties include high-level dusting, emptying trash, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, wet mopping floors, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in healthcare cleaning as well as floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintaining various hard surface and specialty flooring types.
Weekday and weekend availability is required

Requirements

• Healthcare experience required
• Floor cleaning experience required
• Must be able to enter patient rooms, including rooms with isolation precautions
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must have a high level of customer service skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds at times
• Must be able to reach, bend, squat, lift and pull safely and efficiently
• Must have reliable form of transportation to get to and from work
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be able to show proof of recent FLU vaccinations
• Weekday and weekend availability is required
