About The Position

By consistently demonstrating their advanced job abilities through their actions, Floor Captains provide a high level of support to the leadership of the department. Floor Captains act as liaisons between management and the floor team: providing real-time communication and helping navigate any potential staff or guest issues as first responders. They proactively support their colleagues by seeking out where their guidance is needed, never waiting to be asked. They have exceptional knowledge of the food and beverage menu with enhanced allergen awareness. In addition, they will regularly fulfil the duties of any other role in the department.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience within a high volume, quality cocktail bar/venue
• TIPS alcohol certification
• Food handling certification
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for hospitality and a desire to grow within the company
• The ability to work under pressure and to a high standard
• The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays
• An essential function of this position is to be on premises to perform all work requirements.
