About The Position

Kilgore College KC Excel at Parks Fitness Center is open to students and the community. The Floor Attendant at KC Excel will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members and guests while maintaining a friendly, welcoming environment. This position will serve as the fitness center point of contact for inquiries and assist with a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations of the fitness center.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in a fitness or customer service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet all members and visitors with a positive attitude and assist with check-ins (as needed), membership inquiries, and general questions.
Handle membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accurate data entry and payment processing.
Communicate locker room closures or updates to members in advance, ensuring they are well-informed.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and common areas of the facility.
Collaborate with fitness trainers, maintenance staff, and other departments to address any member concerns or facility issues.
Address member concerns or complaints promptly, escalating issues to the supervisor as necessary.
Assist in organizing and promoting special events or fitness programs as needed.
Other duties as assigned
