About The Position

The Dispatcher/Weighmaster is responsible for supporting the field sales personnel in Indiana. This position is responsible to cover Dispatch responsibilities as the primary function and be available to cover the weighmaster position at Business Unit scales as necessary.

Requirements

• An associate's degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, Sales Force and JD Edwards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for market area truck dispatching and haul quotes.
• Provide a high level of customer service that reflects on company values.
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required.
• Issue weight and product tickets at the scale house.
• Schedule and direct trucks.
• Work cooperatively with sales department and dispatch.
• Understand customers' needs and requirements.
• Answer incoming telephone calls.
• Cash sales - document, verify & accurately fill out checks for customers.
• Research problem tickets and properly document findings.
• Convey any known customer needs and/or complaints with the appropriate people.
