About The Position

Modern Animal is building the next generation of general practice veterinary care with a technology-forward approach and a deep commitment to our people. Our veterinarians are equipped with the tools, structure, and support they need to practice the highest quality of medicine, without compromising on the boundaries between work and life. This role offers the opportunity to explore greater Los Angeles by splitting time between multiple Modern Animal clinics, particularly in Los Feliz and Pasadena. We provide flexibility in scheduling with part-time or full-time hours available, with shifts ranging from 4 to 20 shifts per month, each lasting 10 hours. The role includes a variety of practice areas, providing care through standard exams, drop-offs, urgent care, and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduated from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or completed requirements to practice in the United States.
• Active license to practice veterinary medicine in California required at the start of employment.
• License must be in good standing with no malpractice or disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care through standard exams, drop-offs, urgent care, and procedures.
• Split time between multiple Modern Animal clinics in Los Feliz and Pasadena.
• Participate in a supportive and collaborative clinic environment.
