About The Position

Delta Industries is currently looking for a Floating Concrete Plant Operator for its Ready Mix concrete plants in Meridian, MS and surrounding areas

This is a working Operator/Batcher position. The candidate will be batching concrete 90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Safety Meetings
• Quality concrete is produced and delivered
• Batching concrete using our integrated computer systems
• Plant is reliable and utilizes preventative maintenance procedures
• Assess the quality of materials delivered and perform daily cook off to verify moisture
• Batches consistent slump concrete
• Accountable for the integrity of Delivery Professional and yard personnel payroll hours
• Emphasizes plant speed
• Daily reviews of checklist determined by the operations manager to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Ensures delivery professionals perform daily vehicle inspections
