The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through the application of paint and possess a strong understanding of various painting techniques. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, selecting and mixing paints, and applying coatings to enhance and protect surfaces. At RADCO, our culture is our DNA. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Painter in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, color mixing, and matching.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, and lifting.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a painting apprenticeship program or relevant certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and patching holes or cracks.
  • Ensure that surfaces are smooth and free of imperfections before applying paint.
  • Paint Mixing and Matching: Select and mix paint colors to achieve the desired shade and consistency.
  • Match paint colors to existing surfaces or specified color samples.
  • Application of Coatings: Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
  • Follow proper techniques to ensure an even and smooth finish.
  • Protective Measures: Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter or damage by using drop cloths, masking tape, and other protective materials.
  • Ensure the safe storage and disposal of painting materials.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Make any necessary touch-ups or corrections.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Provide updates on progress and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to create a safe working environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment as required.
