About The Position

A full-time Floating Occupational Therapist position is available in Southern CT. The floating OT will provide OT therapy services to multiple different sub-acute/skilled nursing facilities throughout Southern CT. Travel time and mileage are paid when traveling in between two or more facilities on one day. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists, focusing on appropriate and ethical patient care. The management team has worked in the therapist position and understands what therapists need to be successful, including a healthy balance between work and family, and continuing education. The company emphasizes that providing the highest quality care brings the highest outcome for residents, helping them reach their highest level of independence.

Requirements

• Possess a current Occupational Therapy license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours

Responsibilities

• Float to facilities throughout Southern CT to provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facilities
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
