About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Full Time Floating Member Service Representative to join our team at our new Tyler East office in Tyler TX . In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, delivering outstanding service while handling routine financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Your positive attitude and commitment to member satisfaction will help strengthen our credit union’s reputation for excellence. The Tyler East office is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2026. In the meantime, this role will be based out of the Tyler South Broadway office, with flexibility to float to other offices in Tyler and Lindale as needed. Once the Tyler East office is open, this position will still remain as a Floating Member Service Representative . The home office will be Tyler East, but have the ability to travel to different offices in Tyler and Lindale on an as-needed basis to fill in at those offices where and when assistance is needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Background in customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with members genuinely.
  • Detail-oriented, professional, and tech-savvy – ready to help members with digital services.
  • Proficient with computers and basic software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional member service.
  • Availability This position is full-time, 40- hours a week, Monday through Friday. Hours will be between the operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (opening and closing shifts) Will require some flexibility within these hours, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous financial experience would be a plus.
  • Previous cash handling or teller experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members warmly and assist with their daily banking needs, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and account inquiries.
  • Process transactions accurately and in compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote credit union products and services to meet member needs and support business growth.
  • Promote in-branch technology and assist members as needed.
  • Maintain member confidentiality and adhere to security procedures.
  • Resolve member questions or concerns promptly, escalating when necessary.
  • Balance cash drawers and prepare daily reports.
  • Support other branch functions as needed.
