About The Position

Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team in the South, FL Region. The company strives to provide high-quality apartment communities that residents are proud to call home, prioritizing exceptional customer service and creating secure, welcoming environments for their residents.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 or more years Maintenance experience in a multi-family apartment style community
  • EPA 608 type I & II or EPA Universal is a very strong requirement for this position
  • Ability to work independently in multi-site or larger properties, and within a Team environment
  • Valid/active Driver's License, ability to travel within assigned portfolio/region in South, FL
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
  • Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
  • Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
  • Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
  • Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
  • Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
  • Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
