About The Position

Floating Maintenance Specialist Job Responsibilities Fill in for open maintenance positions within the assigned portfolio. Performs maintenance tasks such as unit turns and work orders within the assigned portfolio. Conducts monthly safety meetings, schedules and performs preventative maintenance, and manages OSHA/SDS safety and reporting requirements. Maintains grounds and professional appearance of the property. Assists with the management of vendors such as landscapers, pest control, and other physical asset vendors to ensure quality service for the assigned portfolio. Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies. Manages tasks within budget or seeks approval for necessary work that is over budget. Emergency on-call is required as part of the position. Performs all reasonable duties as outlined by supervisor. Strives to exceed residents’ expectations for excellent customer service. Contributes to a positive team culture and happy resident base.

Requirements

  • Prior maintenance experience is required, maintenance experience in multi-family property management is strongly preferred
  • High organizational skills
  • Experience with warranty work
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to complete punch walks and follow up with construction
  • REAC and other government physical inspec ons experience preferred.
  • Great presentation and interaction with clients and residents required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Experience with leading and supervising a team preferred
  • Prior experience working with a budget is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Yardi preferred
  • Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies, as needed
  • Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage
