About The Position

We are a fast growing youth activity company searching for an early career General Manager in Training to support our multi location growth across the DC, VA, and MD region. This role is built for someone who has experience working with children or youth centered programs and wants a clear pathway into full General Manager leadership. Throughout 2026, you will rotate across several gyms, learn every operational function, support teams during peak periods, and step into short term management needs across the region. This exposure gives you hands on experience with staffing, customer interaction, class execution, and day to day operations. After this training period, you will move into your own GM role in 2027.

Requirements

  • Experience working with kids programs, sports, camps, enrichment centers, childcare, or recreation
  • Early career leadership experience or supervisor level responsibilities
  • High energy and comfort in hands on environments
  • Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with parents
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage shifting priorities
  • Willingness to travel throughout the DC, VA, MD region
  • Desire for a long term career path in youth programming and operations

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations across multiple gyms in the region
  • Learn all core gym functions, including scheduling, class flow, customer service, and staff coordination
  • Take operational ownership during short term GM coverage needs
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members
  • Provide leadership presence on the floor during busy times
  • Ensure safety standards, quality programs, and strong customer experience
  • Build relationships with families, coaches, and internal teams
  • Support special projects that improve consistency and operational excellence
  • Gain full understanding of multi location operations and leadership expectations
