About The Position
Empower Healthcare Management is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Floating Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team on a contract basis. This role requires flexibility and the ability to travel throughout Texas to provide interim nursing leadership support in long-term care facilities.
Requirements
- Must hold a current, valid RN license in Texas
- Previous DON experience in long-term care required
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel and work in various facility locations across the state
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing department operations in assigned facilities
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to nursing staff
- Stabilize departments during transitions in leadership
- Promote high-quality resident care and staff education
