About the position
The Malvern School is seeking a highly motivated Floating Assistant Teacher for its Blue Bell, PA location. This full-time position involves assisting in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program, maintaining a safe and educational environment, and communicating effectively with parents. Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of an Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and philosophy.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
- Communicate regularly with parents, both in person and through technology.
Requirements
- High school diploma and at least 18 years of age.
- At least 2500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.
- Must be (or willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) or a degree in the field.
