About The Position

Overall Purpose: As a Floater at Gallagher Fluid Seals, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that products are accurately assembler, packed and shipped to our customers. Description of Key Responsibilities: Provide coverage and support across multiple production areas, including cutting, molding, finishing, inspection, packaging, and shipping. Assemble components into a final assembly Assist machine operators with set-up, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting as needed. Accurately complete production logs, inspection records, and other documentation. Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy and quality, and document any discrepancies or damages. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company procedures, customer specifications and delivery schedules. Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Identify, sort, and store damaged merchandise according to company non-conformance procedures. Contributes to GFS continuous improvement objectives Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
  • Ability to operate machinery and warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders and carry parts when descending
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
  • Ability to adhere to and uphold GFS core values.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
