About the position
The Floater Security Officer position is designed for individuals who are interested in joining our Security Team. This role involves traveling between various sites in Fishersville, VA, and requires open availability and a flexible schedule. The primary responsibility of the Security Officer is to observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. The position may involve frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, as well as climbing stairs and navigating uneven terrain. No prior experience is necessary, and we welcome candidates with backgrounds in retail, food service, or hospitality, as we provide comprehensive training for a successful introduction to a career in the security industry.
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites.
- Provide security and safety for client property and personnel.
- Patrol various locations to maintain a safe environment.
- Enforce regulations and directives for the client site.
- Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
- Ability to travel between sites.
