About The Position

Properly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and supplies, pursuant to all state and federal laws Maintain the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and services Assist with managing pharmacy operations and supervising Pharmacy Technicians/Clerks Collaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy Keep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programs Consult with clinic providers, administrators, and other personnel as appropriate Perform other related duties as assigned Perform in accordance with company policies and standards Embrace and perform in the spirit of the company’s core values and goals

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of FL
  • 1+ year of full-time retail pharmacist experience preferred
  • Willing and able to travel for business as needed (~20% to 25%)
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer-service, managerial, and communication skills
  • Able to efficiently work, mentor, and supervise staff in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Experience with the 340B Program a plus

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescribed drugs appropriately
  • Handle incoming physician calls
  • Log data into the computer
  • Perform Rx workflow processing
  • Conduct drug utilization reviews
