About The Position

Join The Goddard School of Roswell, GA as a Floater/Assistant Teacher and become an integral part of our nurturing educational environment! This exciting role allows you to support our dedicated teaching staff while engaging with young learners in a fun and dynamic setting.
Hours: 9am to 6pm (Monday-Friday)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Passion for early childhood education and child development.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a dynamic classroom.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime and structured activities.
• Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a clean, organized learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress.
• Participate in professional development and training sessions.
• Adapt to various classroom needs and assist in different age groups as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
