About The Position

The Float Teller position at Westfield Bank involves providing prompt and professional service to new and existing customers by handling day-to-day transactions, including processing deposits and withdrawals and assisting with customer inquiries. The role requires the Teller to float between various Westfield Bank locations, including the Chicopee Area and Springfield. This position is full-time and non-exempt, reporting to the Branch Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months of previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to float between Westfield Bank branches.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established Westfield Bank customer service standards.
• Provide information regarding bank products to potential customers.
• Perform all teller transactions and related services independently.
• Maintain security of cash drawer.
• Prove cash drawer at the end of the day.
• Meet assigned referral goals through the referral of bank products and services.
• Assist in resolving customer problems as they arise.
• May assist with balancing the ATM.
• Assist customers with Safe Deposit.
• Complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
• Adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to the position.
• Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
