About The Position
The Per Diem Float RN W & C reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. This position is a clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
Requirements
- Five or more years of current acute nursing experience in 3 areas in Women and Children's Services.
- Candidates for Women and Children's Services with experience in 2 areas will be considered but, must be willing to be trained in a third.
- BSN.
- Must have PALS and/or NRP certification based on which areas they are floating.
- LIC RN
- CERT PALS
- CERT BLS
- CERT NRP
Responsibilities
- Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice.
- Ability to float to multiple assigned areas.
