About The Position

The PT Assistant Float is responsible for providing treatment for residents/patients under the physical therapy plan of care as established by the therapist.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant, in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Also interacts with residents/patients, family members, responsible party and other health care team members, while maintaining standards of professional conduct.
• This position must comply with regulatory standards of the American Association of Physical Therapy, the Department of Health, and any other professional guidelines or standards.
• Provides treatment to all BHS communities as needed; may be required to travel to multiple sites in a day.
