About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Float Pool RN to provide patient-centered, high-quality care across a variety of medical-surgical units in a fast-paced acute care setting. This position requires strong clinical skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to multiple unit environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care med-surg RN experience
• Willingness to float between multiple units
• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact eligibility
• BLS required within 30 days of hire
• AHCA Level 2 background screening and fingerprinting required
• RNs with 3+ years of experience holding a compact license must apply for Florida licensure
• Must live within a 60-minute commute
• Must be comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• In-person interview required (shadowing, facility tour, administrative interview)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care across multiple med-surg units
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions
• Adapt to varying workflows and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Serve as an advocate for patients and families
• Maintain compliance with all hospital safety and regulatory standards
