About The Position
The Float Pool plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal allocation of nursing and support staff across all departments. Nursing Assistant/Sitter Full-Time, Days Job Description: Certified professional caregiver working under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for providing assigned care according to scope of practice. Has adequate knowledge to approach patients of all age groups. All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Current Kentucky Nurse Aid Certification required or currently enrolled in and successful completion of the first year of an accredited Nursing program and validation of clinical rotation (consistent with level of education)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Heart Association within 90 Days
Responsibilities
- Providing assigned care according to scope of practice
- Approach patients of all age groups
- Monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives
