About The Position

Back In Action Physical Therapy (BIA) has 10 clinics across the central/SE Florida area and we are continuing to grow. The BIA team provides the best individualized patient care in the Ft. Lauderdale and surrounding areas. We are looking for a Full-Time licensed Physical Therapist to provide clinical coverage at our Deerfield Beach/Coconut Creek/Tamarac/Plantation locations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position.
  • A person who can meet the physical and mental demand level of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on physical therapy to patients using a variety of techniques, including Joint Mobilization.
  • Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home care strategies
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Ability to perform the day-to-day management of the clinic
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of physical therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice
  • Participate in marketing programs that educate patients on specific problems.
  • Participate in key metric setting and follow up with goals set with colleagues.
