About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• One year of current phlebotomy experience required; one year of data entry experience preferred.
• High level of accuracy and speed when entering alpha and numeric data; detail and quality-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws competently and expediently with minimal patient discomfort.
• Utilize standard procedures to identify patients, record collection information, label test tubes, log procedures, and enter specimen data into the computer system.
• Respond quickly, courteously, and professionally to patients, client staff, and coworkers, resolving issues to ensure quality patient care.
• Follow standard precautions at all times, handling biohazardous and chemical hazardous materials.
