We are committed to offering an innovative experience to patients by having an integrated approach with a team of providers, including Orthopedic Physician Assistants and Physical Therapists. About the Role As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in ensuring their experience is welcoming, efficient, and supportive. You will work closely with providers and clinical staff to help patients navigate their care journey.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in healthcare administration (required)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred
Knowledge of medical practice procedures, terminology, and EMR systems (preferred)
Familiarity with insurance verification and pre-authorization procedures (preferred)

Responsibilities

Greet patients and provide excellent customer service at check-in and check-out
Collect and record accurate demographic and insurance information
Process insurance verifications, pre-authorizations, and referrals
Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
Collect patient responsibility payments, including copays, coinsurance, and prior balances
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner
Support providers and staff with administrative needs for smooth clinic operations
