Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's Degree as a Physician Assistant.
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare.
  • Active license and certification from AANP or ANCC and all necessary state credentials.
  • Board certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) or physician assistant (PA-C) where eligible.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest quality of medical care to patients while maintaining company productivity metrics.
  • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and staff meetings with other health practitioners as required.
  • Ensure a safety and quality-based healthcare environment is maintained.
  • Collaborate with regional management to participate in community events to promote The Little Clinic.
  • Respond to customer experience survey feedback as directed by regional management.
  • Manage clinic inventory and order supplies to maintain cost-effective operations.
  • Perform quality control on instrumentation and CLIA waived testing as scheduled.
  • Utilize company information systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Support the mentor program by being a resource and role model.
  • Keep clinical knowledge current by attending ongoing education seminars related to retail and family practice.
  • Provide coverage for clinics within the region as needed and assigned by regional management.
  • Control costs at the clinics to meet budgeted profitability goals.
  • Maintain a presence in the community through active membership in local nursing organizations and participation in outreach programs.
  • Participate in other operational duties as assigned by regional management.
