About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first As a Float Medical Assistant, you will work in clinics in the Charleston, SC market. This is an onsite outpatient clinic setting. You will report to the Associate Operations Director and work with the Center Administrator in each clinic. You will perform clinical duties such as: Discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs Medication/vaccine administration Phlebotomy and collecting specimens Sterilizing/cleaning equipment and maintaining examination rooms Documenting information into the electronic medical records system Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

• Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• 1+ years of MA experience
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication
