Float Mammography Technologist
About The Position
Qualified full-time candidates may be eligible for a sign-on of up to $10,000 Mammography Technologist | Denver Metropolitan Area Reporting to Regional Manager of Clinical Operations This position offers additional Float Differential pay (10% of base wage per hour) due to requirements to travel to multiple Invision Sally Jobe locations in the Denver Metro Area Employment Type: Full-Time Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by providing them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.
Requirements
- ARRT (M) certification required
- Required regular travel between ISJ clinic sites depending on patient capacity/volumes and other critical needs
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Previous mammography experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Exemplary patient care & customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
Responsibilities
- Independently perform mammography exams on patients providing high quality images
- Assist with technical/clerical functions in related areas of mammography imaging including quality assurance and control
- Provide clear and detailed information regarding exams and care to patients
- Complete appropriate documentation and obtain interpretation for each exam
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols in order to minimize exposure to patient and staff
- Manage patient priority and act as a first responder when needed
- All other duties as assigned
