About The Position

The Float Lab/X-Ray Technician performs laboratory procedures under the supervision of and as ordered by the physician. Also cross-trained in x-ray techniques and the running of EKG’s.

Requirements

• Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent
• certification from an approved Certified Medical Assistant training program
• experience with the public
• the ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations
• pleasant attitude
• excellent communication skills
• excellent telephone communication skills
• previous experience in a laboratory at a multi-specialty clinic
