Join Air Methods as a Float Flight Paramedic and bring critical care expertise to bases across Arizona, California, and Nevada. This role offers the opportunity to support multiple communities while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and safety. As a Float Paramedic, you’ll deliver advanced pre-hospital and interfacility critical care transport under demanding conditions. This position requires active AZ, CA, and NV Paramedic licensures, FP-C, and NRP certifications, along with at least one year of full-time flight experience and three years of recent 911 experience. Ideal candidates are adaptable, self-motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments requiring sound judgment, collaboration, and top-tier clinical skills. This role includes flexible scheduling with 24-hour shifts and travel between assigned regions. Required: AZ, CA, NV Paramedic licenses, FP-C, NRP, BLS/ACLS/PALS, trauma course (PHTLS, TPATC, or equivalent), and a weight limit of 225 lbs (including gear). Job Summary Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospital advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by Air Methods Community Based Services (CBS) Medical Director(s). You’ll be responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of Air Methods CBS assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum. This position supports multiple Clinical Flight Teams in at bases in all regions where currently licensed.
