DSPs are the core of Wingspan's services. DSPs help residents with daily routines; home care; personal care such as showering and bathing, brushing teeth; and medical administration. They build relationships, implement individual program plans, participate with clients in fun activities at home and in the community, and perform other duties as necessary. The DSP Floater is responsible to protect and promote the health, safety and well-being of each client, assuring services are delivered according to Wingspan Life Resources policies and procedures along with county, state, federal and licensing rules and regulations. The position must be available to work in a variety of homes, with a flexible schedule, based on the needs of Wingspan and the clients served.
