About The Position

Come join our corporate team at Great Lakes Management supporting our senior living communities as a Float Director of Sales. This role provides hands-on sales support, coaching, and leadership to community sales teams while helping drive occupancy and revenue growth across our portfolio. The Float Director of Sales will partner closely with community leadership and the Corporate team to support sales performance, assist communities with sales strategy, and provide temporary coverage when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of senior living sales experience or related sales experience required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database/CRM systems
  • Ability to travel to communities as needed
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite sales coaching, training, and mentorship to community Directors of Sales.
  • Monitor sales performance and help ensure accountability for achieving occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Travel to communities to support sales teams with prospect follow-up calls, tours, and move-in coordination.
  • Provide temporary coverage for vacant Director of Sales roles when needed.
  • Respond to inquiries, conduct personal tours, and implement effective follow-up strategies to convert leads to move-ins.
  • Assist in the management and support of onsite sales teams in partnership with the Executive Director and VP of Sales and Marketing.
  • Help communities achieve and maintain 95%+ occupancy through effective marketing, sales strategy, and resident service initiatives.
  • Provide communities with market insights and sales consultation to support occupancy growth.
  • Monitor community presentation and operations that impact first impressions, providing recommendations for improvement to leadership.
  • Collaborate with nurses, families, care providers, and other professionals to ensure appropriate resident placement and successful transitions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding residents, prospects, operations, and personnel.
  • Provide training and oversight of the HubSpot CRM system to ensure proper lead management and reporting.
