About The Position
DaVita is hiring a Float Dialysis Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a Float PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. This position will require floating to clinics in the region (Livonia, Westland, Romulus, Belleville, Dearborn, Allen Park, Southgate, Riverview and Schaeffer Highway clinic in Detroit).
Requirements
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
