The compensation range for the role is $22.72 - $23.41 hourly Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member's compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School graduate or equivalent required
• Minimum Experience: One (1) year documented driving experience for organizations required
• Two (2) years' experience working in a professional, fast paced environment or successful completion of vocational training relevant to vehicle maintenance or other basic vehicle knowledge.
• Two (2) years' experience triaging incoming calls, messages and/or job requests, and working in conjunction with multiple departments to complete assigned tasks.
• Required Certification/Registration: Valid Driver's License without violations meeting Health System Insurance Criteria required (NYS Driver's License preferred).
• Eligible employees must be bondable and twenty (20) years of age.
• Must complete General Waste & Soiled Linen Handling training prior to the end of orientation and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Performs various transport duties throughout Garnet Health System.
• Transport duties, include but are not limited to transporting and handling internal facility mail, specimens, x-ray film, medical records, storeroom supplies, linen carts, surgical carts and other items which must be moved between facilities.
• Drives various types of hospital vehicles not to exceed 18,000 lbs.
• May be required to perform other duties as required including computer and cellphone applications.
• Please note that these positions will clock in and out of HARRIS location and float between both campuses
