About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Flightline Operations Managers (Level K) to support the 737 Preflight and Delivery team onsite in Everett, Washington on variable shift. A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. This role will lead a team of 10+ people.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
  • Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License or the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate
  • Must be able to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • 1+ years of experience in flight line operations
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • 1+ years of experience working with Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES)
  • 1+ years of experience in functional testing
  • 1+ years of experience with aircraft troubleshooting and/or component troubleshooting

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery
  • Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
