About The Position

The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Flightline Operations Manager for the 777/x Preflight and Delivery Operations Team on 2nd shift in Everett, Washington. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and coaching skills, promoting the company's Values & Behaviors and strengthening its culture. This role emphasizes a first-pass quality mindset, commitment to team member success and development, and strict adherence to FOD (Foreign Object Debris)-free product standards and a “clean as you go” approach, all while focusing on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal role
Willingness to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends

Nice To Haves

Possess an A&P or Repairman Certificate or minimum 18 months of practical, hands-on maintenance experience to qualify for an FAA Repairman Certificate in the type of maintenance to be performed
3+ years of flight line operations experience & functional test knowledge
3+ years of experience with any of the following: avionics, troubleshooting capabilities, functional test knowledge, release, ticket experience, manufacturing, and/or structures
3+ years of proficiency using CMES (or similar industry software)
5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
Bachelor's degree or higher

Responsibilities

Manage, develop, and motivate employees using best practices and regular employee feedback.
Ensure air vehicles are completed and certified for airworthiness by overseeing final paint installation, modification, repair, and delivery preparation.
Interface with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and secure customer acceptance.
Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and achieve operational goals for quality, on-time delivery, and cost control.
Secure resources for projects and processes, provide technical oversight of suppliers, and lead continuous process improvements.
Oversee and approve technical approaches, process changes, and adoption of lean principles.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and teamwork; influence the team to demonstrate Boeing Values and Behaviors.
