About The Position

We are Lockheed Martin Works independently or leads a team to execute project, schedule, and technical requirements to meet the goals of the test program. Responsible for specification, selection, design, integration, operation and maintenance of airborne data acquisition systems, and their related components. This includes telemetry, flight test specific hardware, or prototypes for flight test evaluation. Oversee installation, checkout, and calibration of data systems, to ensure collected data can be properly displayed, processed, and analyzed. Maintain configuration control, and mission capability of the instrumentation system as well as all associated ground support equipment. Support preflight, post-flight, and control room activities for all scheduled mission. Interface with test ops, maintenance, and management to ensure all instrumentation requirements are coordinated and accounted for. Support occasional travel. A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications BS in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science, related engineering degrees or equivalent experience. Technical background in Electrical Engineering or related field. Aircraft systems operations experience. Flight Test experience Desired skills Previous experience with Curtis Wright, Safran, or similar instrumentation hardware Knowledge of signal conditioning, transducers, and data acquisition principals Knowledge of analog & digital circuit design and analysis Flight test instrumentation operations experience Understanding of IRIG 106 Telemetry Standards Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, function generation, network analyzer, and multi-meter use experience. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
