About The Position

Flight Test Dispatcher II in GAC Savannah Unique Skills: Customer Base: As a Flight Test Dispatcher, you will work with a dynamic range of people internal and external to Gulfstream. Focus is on new aircraft customers and future aircraft programs, experimental aircraft groups, and maintenance teams. Job Description: Flight Test Dispatcher is responsible for the following: • Serve as central point of contact for all domestic and international flight test operations • Mitigate all risk associated with our flights to ensure a safe and efficient operation • Safely coordinate Entry-Into-Service of new aircraft deliveries to customers • Safely coordinate production and developmental test aircraft in Savannah, offsite completions centers, and remote testing locations Ideal Candidate: FAA Licensed Dispatcher preferred but not required Advanced experience with aircraft scheduling and flight planning software. Business or Military aviation scheduling/dispatch background preferred FOS/Horizon Scheduling application background preferred but not required Scheduling and dispatch of Production Test and Developmental Test aircraft. Schedule flexibility to include evenings, weekends, holidays and on call assignments required. Education and Experience RequirementsAssociate's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 6 years experience with international air transportation operations. Position Purpose:Note: This position description addresses two separate Flight Operations_Test Dispatcher II roles Demonstration or Test. Some duties, responsibilities and requirements are identical others are different. The differences are defined by using either the term Demonstration or Test for the affected duties, responsibilities or requirements. Demonstration: Under minimal supervision, dispatch and schedule corporate aircraft and flight crew to effectively meet company goals. Serve as the central point of contact for flight operations, coordinating communication between Sales and Marketing, service centers, corporate offices, customers, flight crew, accounting, and maintenance departments.Test: Under minimal supervision, dispatch and schedule flight test aircraft or flight operations experimental, initial phase, final phase and service center aircraft and flight crew to effectively meet company goals. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 6 years experience with international air transportation operations.
