Millennium Space Systems Summer 2026 Internship Program – Flight Software Test Intern
About The Position
As a flight software test intern, you will work with our flight software team in analyzing, designing, and testing of software products for Millennium Space Systems. This position will design and write test cases, oversee test strategies and perform testing on hardware and simulations for our flight software. We are looking for someone who wants to find ways to break our software! Over the course of our 10-12 week internship experience you will have the opportunity to: Develop test plans and write test cases Write and run test scripts Debug software and tests, both on real hardware and in an emulated environment Analyze test results to verify its functionality and recommend corrective action upon findings of anomalies Manage the GitLab CI to automatically run the tests This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Requirements
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026
- Experience with Python, C and or C++
- Experience with GitHub / GitLab
- Pursing Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2026
- These positions must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Additionally, some positions may require the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance. Additionally, applicants must be willing to apply for and maintain a security clearance.

- Summary pay range: $21.15 /hr – $30.77 / hr
