About The Position

Flight Nurse is part of the specialty transport team of experts to safely transport patients between medical facilities and accident scenes. An important aspect includes collaboration with other medical and emergency service providers for the purpose of establishing continuity of care by applying problem solving strategies to patient case challenges, adapting to a dynamic and challenging environment, and advancing treatment modalities/interventions with the end goals of providing the highest patient care and improving patient outcomes. This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled. This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below: Texas: Lubbock Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements. Flexible and available to work on a variable shift which may include days, evenings, or nights shifts. Work Status Available: Full Time Per Diem / On Call Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Texas Registered Nurse License
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
• National Trauma Nursing Core Course - Emergency Nurses Association
• Neonatal Pediatric Transport Subspecialty Certification (C-NPT) -OR- Registered Nurse Certified in Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB) -OR- Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN)
• 3 or more years of experience in acute care nursing

Nice To Haves

• 5 or more years of PICU, NICU, and/or L&D experience
• 3 or more years of Flight Nursing/Specialty Transport Nursing
