Make a Difference While Seeing the World Vighter is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) by providing high-quality healthcare to individuals in transit. As a Flight RN, you’ll combine your clinical expertise with a mission-driven purpose — ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients aboard repatriation flights across the U.S. and internationally. What You’ll Do Conduct pre-flight medical screenings to determine fitness for air travel. Provide in-flight nursing care to patients in coordination with ICE/DHS personnel. Monitor, document, and respond to medical needs throughout transport. Administer approved medications and ensure compliance with DHS health protocols. Manage emergent medical situations with sound clinical judgment and composure. Serve as the primary medical authority in-flight, working independently while maintaining communication with the ground medical team. Deliver compassionate care in a variety of settings — from airfields to secure transport aircraft. Who You Are A Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of current experience (ICU or ER IS A MUST HAVE!!!). Comfortable working in high-autonomy, mobile, and high-responsibility environments. Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and capable of critical decision-making. Possess a valid U.S. Passport and the ability to travel frequently, including internationally - MUST HAVE!!! BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Spanish fluency preferred (waiverable). Preferred Experience Previous emergency response, or critical care experience. What to Expect Flights typically depart early morning and return the same day (occasional overnight stays). Flexible scheduling — advance notice provided for missions. Paid travel time, per diem, and full logistical support. Opportunities to move from part-time to full-time based on performance and availability. Requirements U.S. Citizen with valid U.S. Passport (for international travel). Able to pass background check and drug screening.
