Requirements

  • A Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of current experience (ICU or ER IS A MUST HAVE!!!).
  • Comfortable working in high-autonomy, mobile, and high-responsibility environments.
  • Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and capable of critical decision-making.
  • Possess a valid U.S. Passport and the ability to travel frequently, including internationally - MUST HAVE!!!
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • U.S. Citizen with valid U.S. Passport (for international travel).
  • Able to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs, walk/stand for 8+ hours, and perform BLS/CPR if needed.
  • Must meet medical credentialing standards in accordance with Joint Commission guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous emergency response, or critical care experience.
  • Spanish fluency preferred (waiverable).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-flight medical screenings to determine fitness for air travel.
  • Provide in-flight nursing care to patients in coordination with ICE/DHS personnel.
  • Monitor, document, and respond to medical needs throughout transport.
  • Administer approved medications and ensure compliance with DHS health protocols.
  • Manage emergent medical situations with sound clinical judgment and composure.
  • Serve as the primary medical authority in-flight, working independently while maintaining communication with the ground medical team.
  • Deliver compassionate care in a variety of settings — from airfields to secure transport aircraft.
