About the position

You will be the Cost Account Manager reporting to the Flight Operations Business Operations Manager. This position is responsible for the organization's financial operations, projects, and initiatives. This role will work directly with the AMMM or F35 proposal lead, and will perform various assignments including but not limited to: Support a multitude of Project Planning, Tracking and Finance functions, including establishing program budget baselines, conducting Earned Value and variance analysis, developing monthly ETC, and monitoring EV health metrics. Responsible for monitoring the cost and schedule performance throughout the lifecycle of Flight Operations contractual tasks. Will work with the various Project Leads to identify and resolve performance issues, and ensure the completion of contract milestones across multiple projects. Candidate will assist leadership & VEMO lead with staffing forecasts and maintaining staffing tools. Integrator will also develop and control various metrics for Flight Operations Management. Maintain department Work Authorization Document.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • CAM 101 Certified & working knowledge of Earned Value Management System.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Presentation Skills & the ability to brief leadership at all levels.
  • Familiar with authoring of Basis of Estimates (BOE), and/or proposal development.
  • APTS & CAM tools experience.
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently with varying work tasks.
  • Ability to keep actions in front of leads and drive actions to completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
