Join Air Methods in Barstow, California , and step into a Flight Nurse role built for clinicians who can operate independently and think fast. Barstow serves a large desert region along major transportation corridors in Southern California, supporting high-acuity scene calls and interfacility transports where air medical access is critical. As a Flight Nurse, you will provide advanced critical care to patients when ground transport is not enough. We are looking for clinicians with at least 36 months of experience in a high-volume ICU, ER, Flight, or Critical Care Transport environment within the last five years. This position follows a two 24-hour shift schedule and operates under Air Methods CBS clinical protocols and Medical Director oversight. You will conduct rapid assessment, triage, and treatment while ensuring safe and efficient transport to the appropriate level of care. This role demands strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and the ability to perform under pressure in a challenging operational environment. If you want real responsibility, meaningful flight time, and the opportunity to serve a region that depends on air medical services, Barstow offers work that matters .
