About The Position

As a Flight Nurse, you represent excellence in emergency care and professionalism. In this role, you'll use your advanced critical thinking and clinical skills to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients, working both independently and alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. From remote landscapes to urgent emergency responses, you'll be a lifeline in moments that matter most.

Requirements

• Must hold a current, unrestricted nursing license in the state of operations.
• A minimum of three years in a high-acuity critical care or emergency department setting (1,600 hours/year minimum).
• Must maintain certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), an Advanced Trauma Course (ATLS, TNCC, BTLS, TNATC, or ATCN), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and CCRN, CEN, or CFRN within one year of hire.
• Must adhere to all scope-of-practice protocols and state regulations.
• Must weigh less than 215 pounds fully dressed at the time of hire and maintain that weight.

• Conduct thorough checks of equipment, medications, and supplies at the beginning of each shift and post-flight, guaranteeing immediate readiness for patient care.
• Collaborate seamlessly with multiple agencies, emergency responders, and healthcare facilities, demonstrating diplomacy and teamwork in high-pressure situations.
• Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and municipal regulations, including HIPAA, EMTALA, and OSHA guidelines, ensuring the highest level of safety and compliance.
• Maintain all required certifications, continuously striving for excellence and professional growth.
• Support the team with additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
