About The Position

We're building safety-enhancing technology for aviation that will save lives. Automated aviation systems will enable a future where air transportation is safer, more convenient and fundamentally transformative to the way goods — and eventually people — move around the planet. We are a team of mission-driven engineers with experience across aerospace, robotics and self-driving cars working to make this future a reality. As a Navigation intern at Reliable Robotics, you will work with a team of mission-driven engineers with experience across aviation, space, robotics and self-driving cars to support our autonomous flight systems. Reliable Robotics has year-round internship opportunities for students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field of study. Successful candidates will work alongside senior engineers to design, implement, and test navigation systems.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an undergraduate program in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • A solid understanding of fundamentals -- engineering math, numerical methods, and state estimation
  • Proficient in any of C/C++/Python
  • Proactive and motivated to tackle hard problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or similar advanced degree
