DO & CO is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and eager Flight Coordinator in Des Plaines, IL. DO & CO is a global gourmet entertainment company with a passion for hospitality and culinary delights, operating in Airline Catering, International Event Catering, and Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Computer literate

Nice To Haves

  • preferably in customer service is beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional communication with different channels and distributes all incoming operational information to the affected departments.
  • Ensures production processes, quality standards and deadlines and accuracy are met in order to hand over DO & CO’s high-end products to their aircraft crew in person without delays.
  • Ensures products and trolleys meet the utmost quality standards at all times and the delivery is done according to customer’s instructions.
  • Conducts physical counts and pack additional equipment or products.
  • Identifies procedures that can be improved and puts forward suggestions for more efficiency and customer care.
  • Confirms special meals and correct number of meals for each flight are ready, packed and assigned correctly.
  • Work alongside a team of Food Packers with a Hands-on approach
  • Assists in assembly line when necessary, setting up trays, preparing and packaging food inside a cooler/refrigerated area.
  • Assists in inventory taking when needed.
  • Ensures Hygiene and Food Safety standards are met at all times and reports problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
