About The Position

dnata catering U.S. is looking for a Flight Administrator to join our Inwood team supporting the JFK Airport. Your main responsibility is to oversee and manage the inflight catering operations. This role involves coordinating with airline clients and ensuring efficient delivery logistics. A friendly and customer-oriented approach is essential in building strong relationships with clients and meeting their specific needs. Creative problem-solving skills will help handle any last-minute changes or special requests seamlessly. Attention to detail and organizational abilities will be put to use in inventory management and maintaining quality control standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma with six plus years of progressive customer service experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Must have a driver's license.
  • Ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a Port Authority, Port ID.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Schedule flexibility is a must.
  • Ability to lift and push heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service daily.
  • Comply with all HACCP/GMP and dnata catering sanitation and proper food handling policies and procedures.
  • Check all meals to ensure accuracy of menu specifications and meal counts.
  • Coordinate with airline clients and ensure efficient delivery logistics.
  • Act as an effective communicator capable of reaching different audiences.
  • Be flexible in approach and demeanor to align with shifting demands.
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Make timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
  • Embrace new opportunities and challenges with urgency and enthusiasm.
  • Constantly move in and out of the office and on an aircraft.
  • Lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
  • Comply with Ramp Safety policies and procedures.
