About The Position

Steven Label manufactures labels, overlays, membrane switches, sensors, product instructions for use (IFUs) and folding cartons, largely for the medical device industry. The company provides unique resources including a proprietary online system for order management, ISO 13485 procedures, multiple manufacturing locations with broad printing capabilities (screen, flexographic, offset, digital), support for Vendor Managed Inventory programs, in-house engineering expertise for membrane switches and medical sensors, and product instructions on pharmaceutical grade paper. In business since 1954, Steven Label is committed to world-class service with a seasoned, customer-focused staff. The company is seeking a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join their team. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining Flexographic presses (such as the MA 2200) to meet production and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong team-oriented attitude.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in Flexographic Printing
• Strong understanding of Flexographic printing, ink theory, color matching, and press troubleshooting
• Familiarity with press maintenance and safety procedures
• Ability to follow work instructions in English
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MA 2200 preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MA 2200 or similar Flexographic printing equipment
• Perform routine equipment maintenance
• Manage inventory of press supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members and support as needed
• Take on additional duties as required
